Students getting lots of use from the Cube 3d Printer from 3DSystems

Here are three examples of how TCC is making the most of there 3d printer!

Student from the vocational Technical department at Toledo Community College attending the building construction class in form 4  printed a stair so they can show their teacher before actual construction. This will be used for completion of their School Base Assignment in fulfillment of their CSEC (Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate) requirements.   We printed it on the Cube printer and after approval by the teacher the students headed to the wood works.

A reusable frog and internal organs has been printed for the Biology department to use.

The Geography department is printing maps of  South America so the students can learn about the names of the countries and how they go together on the map.

New Models, Applications and New Opportunity

The teachers at TCC are working to integrate the donated Cube 3d Printer into all areas of the school. Creating artistic designs to demonstration models for science classes.

The minds at TCC now have the ability to quickly create objects that may be difficult to get in Punta Gorda in a matter of hours, that may have taken days or weeks to find.

A Christmas gift of ten print material cartridges in many new colors should be arriving at the school this week. We cant wait to see what will be made next.
